I loved looking at you photos again and think of our night Oct. 21 or 21 2011 when you took my sister and me to photograph at the mosque and the pyramid show. thanks for the comments you made on my gallery. i looked through yours, and i like how varied the cairo cityscape pictures are. it's definitely a different atmosphere than here in san diego. and your chair gallery was intriguing. it's always cool when someone can create something out of the most ordinary, overlooked things, and make it stand out. same goes to the clothespins too.

I think your strengths are with your photos of people and culture, particularly the candid portrait closeups - you seem to be able to capture who the person really is. your use of selective focus and technique are good (Your black & white work has nice dramatic qualities). Finally, you are so lucky to have access to such a beautifully vivid local culture - your street/market scenes are able to convey the rich colours and textures that make it unique. Hello, Emad, Thanks for your nice comments. I will comment on your work, as you asked. 1)You defenitly have a talant for photography. You can capture people soul in your photos, you see beauty anywhere around and you have good taste for colors. 2) Although most of your portraits are perfectly ballanced, for some reason, the composition of your other photos has a little to improve. If you look at your portraits and at your landscapes, you will see that in the portraits in the most cases there is nothing to move or add. While, most of your other fotos, being very good as well, for some reason ask just a little bit to balance the composition - to add some space or oppositely to crop. I would say they are to centered. For example, this fotohttp://www.pbase.com/emad_omar/image/59611157 would be better (to my taste) if you moved with the camera about 70 cm left, while shooting. In most cases better composition is acheaved when your subject or weight point of the picture is located near crossection of imaginal lines that devide the photo into 9 parts (2 vertical and 2 horisontal). 3)I think it's about the time that you should move to some better equipment. With your ability it worthes the investment, to my opinion. Usually people buy expensive cameras and take shitty photos, but you go ahead of your camera ability. I hope you won't be offended as I let some critical notes, but I do it for your sake. With regards, Zeev
