As a Brit who has emigrated to the US, (Texas), the bird life here has impressed me since the day I arrived. The images presented here are nearly all taken in east Texas and while most are not particularly unusual for this part of the world I have tried to capture their beauty as best as my modest photography skills allow. I am still learning but hope my images at least portray some of their beauty
