Hi Chris, I noticed you had updated your From Monterey to San Francisco gallery, and since I grew up on the Monterey Peninsula, the title caught my eye... Nice work there, Chris. You have a good eye for design. A real eclectic mix of interesting things. And of course I was interested in seeing Big Sur (what a great shot of the moon and the coast) and Cannery Row (my dad worked there back in the '50's), and really, I didn't know Marina Beach could be so beautiful... I should be shot, because I didn't take any photos for 40 years (between my teens and two years ago), and since my parents still lived in Pacific Grove (up until a few years ago), I made countless trips down Highway 1 between Marin and Monterey, but dammit, I never took any photos. But that all changed two years ago when I got the digital camera. If you'd like to see my pictures of the San Mateo coastline, they're over at: www.pbase.com/photoarrow/coastline So, it has been a pleasure to meet you, Chris, and see your work. Thanks for stopping by my gallery. It seems that we took pictures of the same subjects with "the same" camera but from different views in different times. I like your wonderful galleries. I am still so amzed by your humming bird short and still can't believe it was taken by Sony 707. Very nice work! By the way, I am using Sony 717. Thanks, Luping
